Evening with Google Earth Co-Creator Brian McClendon

IEEE is hosting a special meeting with geocoding pioneer Brian McClendon from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, in LEEP2 room 2300. Renowned as a co-creator of Google Earth and former leader of Google's Geo team, McClendon has significantly impacted digital mapping and technology. His work includes developing Google Maps and Street View, contributions at Uber and Niantic, and research in machine learning and autonomous vehicles, as well as being a research professor here at KU.
