The beginning of the school year is hastily approaching, here are some important reminders:
Engineers Rock the Block
Sunday, August 20th from 2-4 pm.
Engineers Rock the Block is geared towards new and returning students looking to get more information about all the exciting involvement opportunities at KU’s School of Engineering and make some connections inside the school. There will be fun activities such as yard games and tabling by engineering student organizations. Academic Services staff will also be on hand to help students that need to make last-minute schedule changes.
As you know, each club is required to host a recruiting event during Hawk Week to be eligible for FAC. Sign your group up by submitting this form.
Lockers
If your org didn't clean out your locker and did not reserve a locker for over the summer/next year last semester, you have until September 1st to email Elaine Bunten (ebunten@ku.edu). There were around 12 lockers full of stuff that we bagged and are holding onto, after September 1st they will all be thrown away.
Annual Student Organization Re-registration
Student organization re-registration is now open on Rock Chalk Central (another FAC funding requirement).
