Student Organization Spotlights

The School of Engineering will be featuring Student Organization Spotlights throughout the school year. Submit information about your group to be featured on digital signage, the weekly newsletter, and social media. You can also choose to add an Officer Spotlight.

Spotlights will run in the order submitted so get yours in early!

Video Guidelines and Instructions

  • The videos should be no longer than 45 secondsSend in one take to Max Jiang, x747j301@ku.edu, School of Engineering videographer
  • Send in one take to Max Jiang, x747j301@ku.edu, School of Engineering videographer
  • The School of Engineering communications team will caption it and post the video.

Student organization recording should include:

  • Full nameMajor
  • MajorBrief explanation of the organization
  • Brief explanation of the organizationFavorite things about the organization

Recording Tips:

  • Keep the photo oriented vertically (portrait-style)Pick an interesting spot to record with good lighting. (Ideally not a dimly lit classroom or hallway)
